More Sprays Does Not Mean Better Performance — It Means Compressed Acts

Applying more sprays makes the fragrance last longer and project further

At Eau De Parfum concentration, each spray deposits a concentrated volume of aromatic material. Adding additional sprays in the same session does not extend longevity — the fixative system determines longevity, and its capacity is fixed by formulation, not application volume. What excess sprays actually do is saturate the top note phase: instead of a sequential Act 1 → Act 2 → Act 3 development, the formula opens in an overwhelming burst of top note material that desensitises the nose to the heart and base layers beneath it. Act 1 becomes very loud, Act 2 is difficult to perceive, and Act 3 arrives without a clear narrative arc. The Three Acts are designed to unfold. Volume prevents unfolding

WHAT TO DO INSTEAD

For Eau De Parfum concentration: 1 to 2 sprays for close-contact or office environments. 2 to 3 sprays for evening or open-air wear. Apply to skin, not clothing — fabric holds scent differently than skin and does not interact with body chemistry. Never apply directly to the face. If you are increasing sprays to compensate for longevity issues, review the fixative quality and concentration level first. The formula's base is the longevity system. Application volume is not a substitute for base construction.
